I've acquired a TDS6 bowl lathe which is working well except that the drive motor is vibrating noisily. It does this without the drive belt, so the rest of the lathe is not guilty. It also runs smoothly without the aluminium drive pulley which is secured with a single grub screw and is not balanced.
I'm wondering if this is a replacement - does anyone know what the real part which I am told is part WL100/201 was like? Do I just need to balance this pulley by careful rim drilling?
