Trouble connecting to Denford Pro 1000 with VR Milling 2.32
Hi there,
Tech Ed teacher in Richmond, Virginia. I inherited a Pro 1000 from my predecessor and have struggled over the past few years to get it up and running. I have a buddy at a sister school who has gone above and beyond to get me up to speed, I feel like as soon as my machines talk to each other, I'll be in business. When I borrow his laptop and connect to my mill, it runs just fine but when I connect my laptop to the machine, they won't talk to each other (exact same machine with same image from my district so very confusing!) Have tried three different laptops that I have daily access to and three different cables to connect them to the Mill. (Used the same cables with my buddy's laptop as I used with mine so all the connections should be okay. Here's the error message I'm getting. Hoping it's just a setting I need to enable on my machine. Another buddy with a machine recommended I post here and said the community might have the answer I need. My tech guy has been amazing and super patient but we're both hoping to find a solution soon!

Thanks in advance!
Nate

Hi Nate

How are you connecting to the Router?

If you are connecting via USB an you check in Device Manager that it detects the machine. It should show up as Baldor motion control I think.

You can also try installing Debford Easy Upgrader & seeing if that detects the machine.
